Thank you for visiting. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor - with an office in Mebane, North Carolina.  In my full-time job, I am a Professor within the Counselor Education Program at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), a CACREP-accredited counselor education program.

In April of 2021, I moved office locations.  I move from South Fourth Street to East Center Street, just one block from my previous location.  My new office location is in the 5-Star Building in downtown Mebane.

You may have noticed that the listing of my credentials has changed...and some of my materials do not reflect that change.  In some places, you will see "LCMHCS", and in others you will see "LPCS".  Starting January 1, 2020, North Carolina changed legislation related to the naming of professional counselors.  They changed the license from "LPCS" (Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor) to "LCMHCS" (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor). Please note that this is only a change in name.  No other requirements, training, expectations, etc. were changed.  Wherever you may see "LPCS", I just haven't gotten around to changing some of my materials.
