Thank you for visiting. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor - with an office in Mebane, North Carolina.  In my full-time job, I am a Professor within the Counselor Education Program at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), a CACREP-accredited counselor education program.

Online clinical supervision for mental health professionals in North Carolina  

In some places, you will see "LCMHCS", and in others you will see "LPCS".  Starting January 1, 2020, North Carolina changed legislation related to the naming of professional counselors.  They changed the license from "LPCS" (Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor) to "LCMHCS" (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor). Please note that this is only a change in name.  No other requirements, training, expectations, etc. were changed.  Wherever you may see "LPCS", I just haven't gotten around to changing some of my materials.
